It’s Friday, November 1st. Which means that the kid-friendly version of Halloween has come and gone. However, sexually-charged adults get to break out their flimsy Halloween outfits, risk pnuemonia, and drunkenly celebrate bad decisions over the weekend.
That’s right, if you’re over the age of 21 then Halloween ain’t quite over yet. So let’s keep the screams going, eh?
In honor of what is arguably the second leg of Halloween, I give you Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher FIlm. Featuring key players such as Rob Zombie, Debra Hill, Stan Winston, and Tom Savini, this full-length documentary goes out of it’s way to re-trace the roots of the slasher film. If you think it goes back to the 1980s, you’d be wrong.
