Recently, I went back and revisited 2001: A Space Odyssey. As expected — regardless of how many times I view it — the film sent me scrambling to the Internet for further enlightenment on the Stanley Kubrick’s sci-fi classic.  Before I could delve too deep, I discovered this little nugget from 1976.

This is intriguing because it shows comics pioneer Jack Kirby adapting (and extending) the work of cinematic pioneer Stanley Kubrick (less so Arthur C. Clarke, the novelist whose book is the actual inspiration for the movie)
