While I wish the folks at Screen Junkies had also done an Honest Trailer for the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, I can totally understand why Secret of the Ooze gets the “honest” treatment. Say what you will, but the original Turtles was a surprisingly confident technical marvel (thanks in particular to folks at Jim Henson). The second film, on the other hand, is all to eager to live up to the low expectations of every parent in the 1990s that was forced to take their kids to go see it.
