In the past few weeks, Marvel has unveiled more variant covers for their hip-hop homage. Some of these new ones are funny, like the feminization of Big Punisher’s debut album “Capital Punishment” with Jessica Drew on the cover. The “Illmatic” homage was done very nicely. They also had homages for non-classic, relatively newer albums such as “Tha Carter IV” by Lil’ Wayne.
With these 19 new variants, they’ve passed the half-way mark. Enjoy!
