As a child of the 80’s I can say that The Karate Kid is one of those movies I grew up on. Thanks to constant rotation on television I had ample time to study the discipline that karate can bring to one’s life and practice my crane kick.

For those who haven’t seen the film Daniel (a.k.a Daniel-san a.k.a Ralph Macchio) goes to California for new beginnings with his mother only to be tormented by Johnny (William Zabka) until he is taught the ancient art of self defense known as (you guessed it) karate by Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita).

But after watching this video I have to question everything. It’s thesis suggests that Johnny is the hero and Daniel-san is the villain. The argument is convincing. So what else is backwards? Is up actually down? Is the moon going to shine light upon the world instead of the sun tomorrow? I don’t know. I just don’t know.

But I do know the video below sure is funny. Have a watch for yourself and enjoy!
