EL CHAPO continues to make headlines, and footage of the intense raid that lead to his capture is making the rounds. The raid was carried out by a group of Mexican marines and the footage was taken by a GO PRO camera attached to one of their helmets. It’s intense footage that couldn’t possible get you anywhere closer to the action unless you were in the room yourself.
5 gang members were killed and 1 Marine were injured during the raid. The drug lords capture actually isn’t a part of the on camera action. He fled through the sewer and was later caught carjacking. The footage was provided by the Marines to the Televisa network before being broadcast on Primero Noticias.
Below is the video itself. I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t turned into a movie or T.V show sooner or later.
