Stuntmen. By definition they are fearless, daring, and synonymous with danger. Having said that, they are also terribly misunderstood. Yes, what they do can get them hurt, but when you witness the planning, collaboration, and execution involved in making stunts happen you realize just how talented these people really are. They are also the back bone of action movies, the movies that are this sites name sake.
The video below, while delivered with a healthy dose of comedy, actually gives an excellent overview of what it is like actually being a stunt man. Things like salary, union status, and the family nature of the business are discussed. Having talked to people who have stunt people in their family I can vouch for the fact that families have generations in the business.
