Marvel started it. But now Hasbro, Quentin Tarantino and DC Comics are all attempting to have their respective films interconnected a cinematic universe.
For DC, the BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Featurette below indicates their plans to bring all prominent members of the Justice League of America together a la 2012’s Marvel’s The Avengers. The second video contains film footage and behind-the-scenes interviews with the cast of Wonder Woman. With that character, they may get one-up on Marvel Studios by having a character clearly intended as a feminist icon.
