The comic book character Deadpool is having a moment. With the movie DEADPOOL coming out today and a sequel already green lit, we are bound to only get more of the “Merc with a Mouth” from here on out. So it’s fitting that Rob Liefeld, the person who created Deadpool while at Marvel comics, has a moment as well.

That moment comes in the form of the poster below. It is of Deadpool himself, and is brought to us thanks to the wonderful group at Mondo. It’s as cheeky and fun as the character himself, and of course we wouldn’t have it any other way. To quote Liefeld on his brief return to the character:

“I am a huge fan of all things Mondo and when the opportunity to illustrate a Mondo print celebrating the Deadpool film presented itself, I leapt at the chance! I love drawing Ryan Reynolds in his Deadpool costume, he looks amazing and is the true embodiment of the Merc with a Mouth! I’m so thrilled with the print and excited to get it out to the fans of the comics and the film! Thank you Mighty Mondo!”

Enjoy the poster below, and if you are seeing DEADPOOL, feel free to let us know what you thought on our Twitter or Facebook pages.
