An in-depth look at Ghostbusters.

I’ve had an obsession over the last view years, and it’s time to share. Wondering if the film still held up, I recently re-watched Ghostbusters . To my surprise it did in spades. As a matter of fact, I’ll go as far as calling it the perfect action-comedy amongst my friends and colleagues.
And there was a long list of reasons for that: The perfect cast, the excellent comedic timing, and the original concept. Also, the fact that it hasn’t been truly replicated in the decades that have passed since it’s inception.
Then, serendipitously, YouTube went ahead and showed me moviebob and his series of videos called “Really That Good.” His most recent one is for Ghostbusters itself, and it is nothing short of amazing. It goes into the uniqueness of the movie, its occult roots, its social implications, and even tackles the whole “you’re opinion is warped by childhood” angle.
We post a lot of videos to Action A Go Go, but this one is the most in depth so far.
