As far as games go, the DOOM franchise is as iconic as it gets. It goes back to the roots of PC gaming and has at once been celebrated and decried as a corrupting force in our culture.
So of course they are going to make a sequel.
The last game, DOOM 3, came out in 2004. It was a big success, with state of the art graphics and atmospheric (read: scary) but still intense gameplay. DOOM 4, however, looks like it is taking no prisoners and turning everything up to 11.

After watching this through all I can say is step aside, Halo 5. Your days as my game of choice are numbered.
