Did that latest Star Trek trailer come off like it was relying too heavily on gimmickry? Did it have you lamenting the death of sci-fi films for adults? Then I’ve got something for you.
Scheduled to hit theaters January 22nd, Synchronicity is being labeled as a “mind-bending” whodunnit in the vein of Blade Runner. Visually, I can see where the comparison comes from. This movie looks like it aims to pay tribute to the sci-fi films of old. Considering the upcoming sci-fi options hitting theaters, I consider that a good thing.
