I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with director Claudio Fäh, a filmmaker who knows real tension comes from pressure, not noise. He likes to put characters in tight, uncomfortable situations and lets the psychology take over.
His latest film, Turbulence, takes that idea straight into the sky. Starring Hera Hilmar, Jeremy Irvine, Kelsey Grammer, and Olga Kurylenko, the film follows a romantic hot air balloon retreat that turns into a psychological chess match when a sinister third passenger hijacks the flight and forces long-buried secrets into the open.
