Acclaimed director Simon West (Con Air, The Mechanic) is back with a new action-comedy that proves getting older doesn’t mean slowing down. His latest film, Old Guy, stars Christoph Waltz as a washed-up hitman struggling to get his mojo, Lucy Liu as his long time confidant who get’s wrapped up in his shenanigans, and Cooper Hoffman as the eager young upstart hitman who might just be in over his head.
We sat down with West to talk about the film’s mix of high-octane action and dark humor—and, of course, what it was like working with the ever-formidable Waltz.
