Blizzard has been incredibly successful at keeping their upcoming World of Warcraft movie under wraps. So well in fact that I only found out about the film earlier this year.

While I’m not surprised by the existence of a film based on the best-selling MMORPG series (after YA novels and comics, video games and manga were bound to be next up for Hollywood), I am surprised to see that Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) is in the director’s seat. This film may be one to keep eye on.

Warcraft hits theaters in 2016.
