Every once in a while you get to see inside a dream factory that makes movies, and the stuff that populates them, real. The time around it’s the hooligans over at Tested who take the time to interview Jose Fernandez, head of Ironhead Studios. This studio has done design and costumer work on Tron: Legacy, Thor, Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice.
During the interview he talks about all the incredible work he’s done over the years along with some near misses, most notably the loosing bid he had on X-MEN: Apocalypse. It’s weird that he lost, because it ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE APOCALPYSE.
It’s definitely worth a look to learn about one of the giants of the industry that nobody talks about.
