You know a song has a certain popularity to it when it becomes eligible for parody. Texas rapper Chedda da Connect’s hit summer single “Flicka Da Wrist”, along with its accompanying dance, meet such criteria. Remaking the beat’s original production, Richie Clayton filmed and edited this parody. The center of the parody is horror icon Freddy Krueger from the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise. Here, Clayton’s parody flips the song and dance into both a hilarious battle rap and weapon brandishing (respectively) from his Freddy. The make-up for Freddy was well-done and had me wondering at first if Robert Englund reprised his most famous role.
