I don’t think Marvel Comics wants to stop doing these hip-hop variants. They’ve surpassed the 50-issue mark and with the number of hip-hop albums that exist all across the spectrum, they could very well go on forever. If that’s the case, I have a few albums they should consider remixing:
Little Brother – Getback (Heroes for Hire)
Sadistik – Ultraviolet/Flowers For My Father (Daredevil/Prince Namor)
Beanie Sigel – The Truth (Bishop)
CunninLynguists – A Piece of Strange (Jean Grey/X-Men)
Northern State – All City (A-Women)
Anyway, here are the latest hip-hop homages. LL Cool J’s “Mama Said Knock You Out” is the only album I have from this batch. The Punisher tribute to it is tough-looking. That one gets the win!
