Today, Marvel Studios has unveiled the trailer for its feature film Captain Marvel. The character was teased at the end of Avengers: Infinity War when her symbol appeared on Nick Fury’s pager before he crumbled out of existence. Set in the mid-1990s, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers (played by Brie Larson), a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of intergalactic warfare. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Samuel L. Jackson will return as Nick Fury, with Jude Law and Gemma Chan also starring alongside Brie Larson. The cast also includes Lee Pace, Ben Mendelsohn, Annette Bening, Robert Kazinsky and Kenneth Mitchell.
