Since the Wall of Soundtrack’s inception, Road Tunes Reviews and I have been dissecting the soundtracks of various films and TV shows, looking with clinical inspection at the relationship between the melding of music and the big screen. It recently occurred to us that, in 10 podcasts thus far, the movies and TV shows we’ve examined are all dramas of some form. Perhaps it’s because the seriousness of a drama is reflected even down to minute details (such as imagery). For our eleventh podcast, we decided to switch things up and take it to a film that combines comedy, action, and turning super-hero conventions on its head: Deadpool (2016).
