I had a chance to speak to Isaac Florentine about his latest feature, HOUNDS OF WAR! This was right before we spoke to Rhona Mitra, who does an amazing job as Selina in the film. In our Isaac Florentine Hounds of War Interview, Mitra described Florentine’s directorial style, saying, “His language is the art of fight, is the dance in the fight and the fight in the dance.” This sentiment truly shone through in the meticulously choreographed fight sequences of the movie.

Isaac Florentine is known for his work on films like “Acts of Vengeance” (2017) with Scott Adkins, “Ninja” (2009), “The Shepherd” (2008) with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and “Close Range” (2015) also starring Adkins. He brings a distinct flair to action filmmaking. He is also a master martial artist himself, having learned judo and karate, and still trains at a martial arts studio he started.

I thoroughly enjoyed diving deep into the creative process behind HOUNDS OF WAR with Florentine, and I’m confident you’ll find our discussion as engaging as I did. Enjoy the full Isaac Florentine Hounds of War Interview below.
