A trailer has landed for the The First Purge which will provide the origin story for the state-sanctioned suspension of criminal law.
While previous films have focused on how ordinary people survive amidst the carnage, the fourth entry looks like it will address the political evolution of the 12-hour purge.
The First Purge is due to be released on 4 July.
