Road Tunes Reviews and I have been a Scorsese binge as of late. This past weekend, we met and this time talked about the music from Casino (1995), the Oscar-winning director’s classic look into the mob’s investment in Las Vegas. We had to carefully pick and choose the songs to look at as Scorsese used over 50 songs in the film. We narrowed it down to about 14 before we got started. We talk about Scorsese’s obsession with the Rolling Stones, James Woods’ hilarious coke-addled typical profanity-laced dialogue as Lester Diamond, and the infamous baseball bat scene. Check it out below!
